Today is my Mum's birthday - her 59th. What can I say to mark this special day? I'm lost for words, but I have a nice memory of her birthdays. For more years than I can remember now I haven't actually spent a birthday with my Mum. My Mum and Dad loved their holidays (mostly in Greece) and they went twice a year on both of their birthdays. Once in May and once in September. I would always hope she would call on her birthday and she always did take the time for a wee chat even although she was usually having a whale of a time in some wee Greek Taverna with my Dad. She always sounded so cheery when she called home and I loved to hear her voice. So I hope she is somewhere even more beautiful now and I hope she knows I miss her more on her birthday than I ever thought imagineable. Fifty eight is way too young to lose your Mum and my Mum was a very young 58. Her good heart kept her looking young, everyone would agree with that. Mum you were and are a wonder to me. A great and devoted mother and grandmother, We all miss you more and more as time goes by. Happy Birthday with Love. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
